Since I eat Halal food, I had to check whether it contained any alcohol, such as sake or mirin. When I asked the staff, they said the sauce on the table contained mirin, but the soy sauce next to it was regular soy sauce, so I used that. Miso soup was also served, but I didn't drink it because I was told that 90% of the miso used in the soup contains alcohol.
