July 2026I was deeply moved by the owner's kindness and the way they kept talking to me even though I was a foreigner visiting alone. I walked in without a reservation, but this place deserves to succeed. I highly recommend it. You must order the simmered dish. It is number one in Matsuyama—no, number one in all of Japan. I kept marveling at the food as I ate.
