August 2026I ordered cold buckwheat noodles with my granddaughter. I was drawn to the fact that they were handmade noodles and expected them to be easy to swallow since they were thin. However, after one bite, the texture was as hard as the noodles in Hakata tonkotsu ramen. When I told the woman with me, "It's too hard to eat," she just said it's because they are handmade. I have never eaten such hard noodles before. My granddaughter also said, "It's too hard!"
