A precious tempura restaurant in Ueno! It’s a traditional eatery that has been passed down for three generations. After watching a movie, I went for tempura for dinner, but the counter was full, so I sat at a table. It was lucky that a seat opened up since Yushima Tenjin is nearby. The fresh seafood tempura that comes out one after another, especially the oysters and shirako, is a must-try! 🍤🍤

March 2026Overall, it's not bad. If you go around 4 or 5 PM on weekdays or weekends, it's not that crowded.

March 2026It's a store I don't really want to tell people about. From the ingredients, cooking methods, to the interior enjoyment, you can really tell that care is taken in every detail. The Hinoka counter is beautiful and just that alone makes you feel good while dining.
