August 2026There are two Sushi Sakaba near Hakata Station; one is on the 1st floor of Hakata Station, and the other is on the B1 floor of the KITTE building right next to it. Since there are two locations within a close radius, you can just go to whichever is more convenient, and the taste is delicious and consistent. However, in the case of the menegi (green onion) sushi, the Hakata Station branch I ate at on Saturday had a stronger and more fragrant aroma. I suspect this might be due to the daily freshness of the ingredients rather than the skill of the sushi chef.โฆ

July 2026Since many YouTubers recommended it as a budget-friendly sushi spot, I decided to visit immediately when I saw there were no people while wandering around Hakata. The establishment itself is like a food court, so the tables are close together and not very spacious. The food feels overrated, the fish slices are too thin, and they don't taste particularly fresh. The shrimp was somewhat edible, but perhaps my expectations were too high. Overall, it was mediocre, and I'm just glad I didn't have to wait to eat.
