This was the worst Kaiseki meal I have ever had. The ingredients were terrible, and it was extremely poor quality considering the price of over 30,000 yen per person! Furthermore, I would never recommend this to foreigners or anyone from other Asian countries. I was treated with contempt and looked down upon simply because I am a foreigner, and the Japanese waiters had very blunt and unfriendly expressions! It seems like Japanese society is not as polite as it used to be. The total bill was 250,000 yen, but they rushed me and even demanded tens of thousands of yen more just because I am a foreigner. Their attitude was incredibly rude and arrogant!

We had an absolutely amazing time. We each had the Kaiseki course paired with wine and sake, and it was the best restaurant experience of my life. It cost about $1,300 in total, but it was worth every penny! The service from the waiters was excellent, and it felt as if we had the entire restaurant to ourselves—though of course, there were other guests in other rooms.…
