Like other foreigners, I had a similarly unpleasant experience. Even though I had a reservation, I had to wait over an hour for the first piece of sushi to arrive (!). I made a reservation in advance and arrived on time; shouldn't the restaurant respect our time? This never happened at other Japanese restaurants. There was also a strong fishy smell, which was something I had never experienced in Japan before. The quality of the food was very low and the service was a mess, so I was truly disappointed.

My child recommended this restaurant, so I made a reservation by phone in advance. Since it was my first time visiting, I chose the 4,000 yen set menu, and it was delicious!
