August 2026I'm sure there was a 'Fukunoya' in Kurume too, but is it a different chain? The prices are so different. You can have a meal with just a bowl of ramen + an exchange bead for one coin...

August 2026To the locals in Tainan, this is a popular restaurant that isn't too salty and has reasonable prices; the thin noodles and delicious soft-boiled eggs show the owner's dedication. I also tried adding pickled vegetables like the locals do, but since it wasn't too salty, I would recommend being careful with how much you add.
