July 2026Harsh Sichuan home cooking. Lunch Mapo Tofu set 1000 yen, Dumplings 450 yen. The tofu is big and fluffy. The strong flavor of plum and garlic is distinct. Due to the strong salty and fatty taste, it lacks half the driving force for the rice. By default, rice is quite small unless paid for, which makes managing rice a struggle. Dumplings are heavily skinned, with a black vinegar sauce attached to the oily soy sauce, acting as a substitute for rice. Thursday at 11:07, about half the seats were vacant. A small city Chinese-style store with 3 tables and 5 counter seats. Run by two grandmothers at their own pace. In terms of taste, it's top-level competing, but the bad mechanism of the rice is a hindrance.
