I highly recommend this place if you want to experience a local atmosphere near Dotonbori. The menu offered a lot of fun to choose from because of the many fresh ingredients delivered that day, and every dish I ordered was satisfying. In particular, the grilled scallops were moist and had a lovely natural sweetness, while the grilled conch had an amazing chewy texture and umami. The mentaiko ochazuke I had to finish the meal was warm and filling, making it a perfect match for a rainy day. The chef and the staff were also pleasant and friendly, making the entire meal enjoyable. I would love to visit again on my next trip to Osaka.

I visited on a rainy evening, and it was the most memorable restaurant of this Osaka trip. I was lucky enough to sit at the counter on the first floor, where I could watch the chef grilling ingredients over charcoal right in front of me, and the Robatayaki performance of serving food with a large wooden paddle was really fun. The grilled scallops and conch were delicious enough just with the charcoal aroma because the ingredients were so fresh, and the maguro (tuna) I ordered upon the staff's recommendation was so impressive that I definitely want to eat it again.
