July 2026After coming out of the north exit of Saga Station and walking a bit, there was a really atmospheric store targeted by the sign I'd often seen and been curious about. When seated at the counter for two, I was first surprised by the menu that had no prices listed. However, the restaurant appeared fully occupied. The assorted sashimi and the chilled tomatoes. Minaminoseki somen, etc., were very enjoyable. They say they serve delicious fish and vegetables. The refrigerated case had a lot of Japanese sake, and it was a struggle choosing from the lineup in front of the case. But since there was a staircase to go back, I decided to drink modestly. The store is said to be in its second generation, and I want to visit again.
