August 2026This is the third "S-class" sushi omakase I've experienced in Japan, and my first in Sapporo. The atmosphere was wonderful, the chef was friendly and approachable, and the staff provided attentive service. The dishes were creative, beautifully plated, and delicious. However, the rice was a bit too vinegary for my taste. The highlight for me was the Toro-taku, but considering the variety of fresh local Hokkaido seafood available in summer, my meal wasn't quite perfect. If you come to enjoy the atmosphere and view it more as a cultural experience rather than "Japan's best meal," you certainly won't regret it.
