August 2026As soon as I arrived in Fukuoka, I searched for and visited a restaurant near my accommodation. Fortunately, since there were only two of us, we were able to eat immediately without a reservation. We could order easily via QR code. The grilled beef tongue had an unbelievable level of perfect doneness, texture, and flavor. The beef tongue sashimi was a feast of richness, similar to bluefin tuna belly, and the seaweed salted fish sauce served as a condiment provided an explosion of umami.
