A hideaway izakaya located deep in the alleys of Sentochō. There are counter seats even in the private rooms. The chef/boss takes care of you. If you are going by taxi, it is close if you enter from the front of the Kiyamachi alley.

Wow, wow, wow!! You absolutely must visit this restaurant! It is truly the best. It was hands down the best sushi I've ever had in Kyoto. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and you could tell the ingredients were top-notch. Ordering the omakase and watching the chef prepare everything right in front of your eyes was also really fun. The chef's skills were truly impressive. I also liked that there are regular menu options available for those who might find the omakase a bit overwhelming. The chef [considers] the guest's diet...
