I felt like eating eel, so I searched for a famous place in the city and found Kamizumi Ichinoya. It seems that there is a main store in Kawagoe. If you order at the time of reservation, the 1-hour cooking time will be provided at a good timing when you visit, so I ordered the Unaju for 5,200 yen first. Changed the set to grilled eel liver soup for 300 yen. Ordered a bottled beer for 900 yen. The bottled beer is Premium Malt, and drinking it in a thin glass tastes great as expected. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the eel volume arrived. The eel is tender and the taste of the sauce is light. You can enjoy the taste of the eel with minimal sauce. The grilling is also light. While thick sauce is good, the fat is appropriate and you can eat it plainly and deliciously. The portion of rice is small, so it might be good to enjoy the upper unaju or other special menu items. The grilled eel liver soup has an aromatic flavor. This is also good. I think this place is great for enjoying the quality of the eel. I want to try the Shirayaki next time.
