July 2026Lunch at the famous restaurant 'Shimazu' in Shirokane Takanawa. I fully enjoyed the capabilities of Michelin one star, Tabelog Gold. It started with seasonal items like Quina, Shirako, and Mehikari, featuring a seamless lineup from white fish and red meat to fatty tuna and delicacies like Malatang sea urchin. Especially, the quality of the medium fatty tuna and the large fatty tuna was excellent, leaving an impressive lingering taste as it dissolved in the mouth. The rice was appropriately firm, excellently harmonizing with the ingredients. It's a place where you can savor authentic Edomae sushi, conveyed solely through the chef's courteous work.
