September 2026It is a specialty restaurant for sweetfish in Arashiyama, Kyoto. I had the lunch course. Since I heard there is a farmhouse by the river behind the shop, it seems the sweetfish and carp served at the restaurant are raised there. It was my first time having sweetfish sashimi. It was slightly sweet and delicious. It was a restaurant specializing in sweetfish cuisine.

September 2026I visited after hearing that my favorite Japanese actress performed here in the 90s. Surprisingly, the tea and dessert sets remain unchanged despite the passage of time! The amazake was cool and refreshing, and the desserts were delicious. However, since it's a bit far from the main busy area, it might be better to take an Uber on your way back.
