September 2026In a calm atmosphere typical of a long-established restaurant, I was served their specialty, 'Ema Weight'. The moment I opened the lid, I was startled by the powerful appearance of the eel! The savory grilled eel had a plump body, and the harmony between the richness of the sauce and the rice was outstanding. Halfway through, by adding the broth to make it like tea-soaked rice (ochazuke), it transformed into a different flavor, allowing me to enjoy it until the very last bite without getting tired of it.
