July 2026Since I remember the strawberry afternoon tea being delicious during a work event this winter, I decided to visit for the first time since I was nearby. Although the strawberry afternoon tea I was looking for wasn't available, I purchased the strawberry cream cheese afternoon tea instead.

July 2026After eating strawberry mochi at Daimaru in Osaka, my daughter wanted more. Most of the mochi we saw in Kyoto had red bean paste, which my daughter doesn't eat. I was so glad we could try fruit mochi at Yoroken on our way to Arashiyama, as it was a place I had really wanted to visit. It was a shame that strawberry mochi wasn't in season, but I bought her tangerine mochi, her next favorite, and she devoured it in just 10 minutes. She said it melted in her mouth. 10 out of 10! I definitely want to come back. The lady running the shop was also warm and kind. PayPay and cash are accepted.
