August 2026It was raining on the day I visited Miyajima. While searching for a place to eat and scouring the Miyajima shopping street, I discovered a modest stall where oysters were the main feature of the menu. The prices were cheaper than other places (300 yen for one grilled oyster), and since they offered sake-steamed oysters (650 yen for 4) which weren't available elsewhere, I decided to eat at this restaurant.
