September 2026During a trip with a friend's family, I remembered the crab I had in Sapporo before, so I made a reservation on short notice and visited. I was satisfied with the price, taste, and atmosphere, and I would definitely visit again. I had the lunch set menu.

August 2026While looking for the 'Big 3' in Sapporo—Hyosetsu no Mon, Kanisho-gun, and Kaniya—I fell in love with the Japanese-style interior on the 3rd floor, so I made a reservation a month in advance. I'm not sure if I was lucky or if they assign everyone to the 3rd floor, but I managed to get the 3rd-floor seat I wanted! Out of our entire 4-day, 3-night Sapporo trip, the one dish that our group of three unanimously voted as #1 was served here at Kaniya: the crab sashimi. The hairy crab was legendary, and the service was nothing short of being treated like royalty. You must come and try it! Highly recommended! 👍🏻
