July 2026It was the best dinner experience of my life. I've had formal course meals at a ryokan before, but this was my first time dining at a proper kaiseki specialty restaurant, and I was truly impressed. I highly recommend it. If you're planning to visit Kyoto, search on TableCheck and make a reservation in advance. The dining time takes at least two hours, but it's well worth the time and money investment.
