August 2026The restaurant has 4-5 counter seats and one table seat, so reservations are essential even on weekdays. On the day of my visit, all seats except mine were already occupied by regulars. Thanks to the hospitality of the chef, who has experience living in the UK, and conversations with elegant guests, the course ingredients centered around sushi and the local sake tasted even better. I was highly satisfied with the steamed dish, sashimi, tea-steamed dish, grilled fish, and sushi; the pricing is surprisingly honest. If you are staying in Karatsu, I highly recommend visiting.
