August 2026After hearing from my wife that this was the shop of a rolled omelet world champion, and being a huge fan of egg dishes, I got curious and stopped by for lunch on my second day in Japan before heading to the Osaka Museum of History. It was truly an exquisite middle ground between steamed egg and rolled omelet! It melted in my mouth, yet it was definitely a rolled omelet. When you slice it open, the savory, concentrated yolk flows out, and when mixed with the salty beef underneath, it's the perfect salty and savory combination!!
