September 2026I visited alone. The atmosphere inside wasn't exactly what I expected from a motsunabe restaurant. I was able to get in even without a reservation 17 hours before Sunday. They have single-person hot pot courses, so it's a welcoming place for solo diners. There were a few other solo customers as well. However, for one person, it seems motsunabe requires a minimum order of 2 servings, while the course menu (1-person hot pot) starts from 4,980 yen.…

August 2026Since we were in Fukuoka, we decided to have Motsunabe at 'Hakata Motsunabe Yamanaka Akasaka branch Fukuoka.' We visited for dinner with 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant. We were guided to a private room, which allowed us to enjoy a relaxing time with our family without worrying about our surroundings.
