August 2026I received the cutlet rice bowl set. The rice for the tonkatsu was unevenly hard with some spots, and there were parts that felt like raw white rice; it was hard and not tasty. It made me wonder how rice in a rice bowl could be so unappetizing. The udon was also hard, perhaps lacking proper texture (koshi), and didn't suit my palate.
