August 2026A shop I stumbled upon when I was a 'dinner refugee.' The exterior looked like an izakaya, but since whale was on the menu displayed outside, I decided to step away from the hot spring. When I saw the shop name 'Akiho' written on the sign, it reminded me of the actress Akiho Sendo, so I assumed 'Akiho' might be her cross-dressing name, but I was wrong. I heard the origin of the name later, but... I forgot to ask why it was called 'THE Kappo' instead of just 'Kappo'...
