September 2026Numbered tickets are distributed early in the morning. I saw online that they start at 9:00 AM, but when I arrived around 9:10 AM, there was only one ticket left. Fortunately, I was able to secure a seat at this 100-year-old restaurant. As soon as I entered, the rich aroma of charcoal tickled my nose. The interior had a strong Showa-era atmosphere. The eel dish was especially incredible—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce was flavorful without overpowering the charcoal scent. The service was also excellent. The owner even apologized, saying they were sorry for making us wait so long since we were the last customers. It was definitely worth the wait. 🥹…
