August 2026I can speak English, but the staff at Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu speak English well enough that I had no trouble ordering. In the US, it is common to sprinkle salt and pepper on eggs. I recommend sprinkling salt and pepper on the cutlet and then dipping it in the egg wash.
