August 2025I was finally able to visit 'Kusahiro Nakahigashi', a place I absolutely wanted to visit when I went to Kyoto, with a reservation made a month ago. Each dish was crafted with dedication, and it was an excellent cuisine resembling a work of art. The staff was also excellent. The dishes were so tempting that I wanted to visit again with the changes of the seasons. They explained ingredients I had never heard of before... especially the micro cucumber was impressive. Thank you, Madam and Chef.

Using rapeseed, they create a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience. The dishes reflect the season with eight measurements, transparent utensils, and simple grilled items. Each dish is a masterpiece worth calling out. Cooking is a conversation with nature.
